Very nice post.

I often teach at Symbiosis Institite for Information Technology, and I always try to explain the importance of blogging to students.

In a Java class a few years back, I also tried to get the students to blog about all their assignments.

Not every one takes to blogging, but usually there are at least a few students in every batch who do "get it" and continue blogging.
